I am a geologist by profession and have been fortunate to have travelled to many different environments around the world – often to places inaccessible to the regular tourist.
The relationship of geology to landscape and the local culture is something that interests me, and photography allows me to capture the uniqueness of different environments and cultures. I also enjoy capturing on camera those fleeting moments when quite mundane landscapes can be transformed into something special by the local light or the weather conditions, particular on Dartmoor in the county of Devon in the southwest of England.
I hope you enjoy seeing just a small selection of the world through my lens. If you do I would love it if you leave a comment.
Recently I have worked on several commissions, and I also sell high-quality prints of my work. All the images displayed on this website are available for sale, typically as a giclée print on natural white watercolour paper with a slightly textured matte surface, or fine art quality Hahnemuhle “William Turner” paper at most sizes up to A1.
If you would like to enquire about purchasing a print you can contact me here . . .
